Wednesday Musings: Take Eight

Have you ever felt needed so much that you want to scream? I had that feeling today, but now I'm okay :)

Slams the Door turned 22 yesterday. I wasn't able to provide her with a proper cake, so I took out a couple of Fudge Rounds and stuck two matches in them. I wasn't able to provide proper birthday candles either.

I dyed my hair yesterday. It's darker than my original hair color, but I reallyreallyreally like it :) I'll post a picture of it next week sometime.

I'm very independent, VERY independent. I don't know why either.

Did anyone see the season finale of House on Monday??? It was amazing!!! I think I'm in love with Hugh Laurie.

On Sunday, I went and saw A Nightmare on Elm Street in theaters. Wow, job well done my friends. I give that movie a standing ovation for recreating a classic horror film in good taste. (Sidenote: This was the first time I went and saw an actual "scary" movie in the theater. I was nervous that I was going to scream, but I didn't) I jumped and threw my hands in the air instead.

  3. The only scary movie I've seen in theaters was The Strangers. I saw it with two different groups of friends, and both times were really good. That's probably the best scary movie I've ever seen. It's more suspenseful than gross and gory. I prefer the suspense any day.

  4. Back off of Hugh Laurie. Just as soon as he decides to get a divorce he's mine! And yeah I saw the finale, now I'm just waiting on it to come out of DVD so I can watch it over and over again! (Do you think Cuddy meant what she said? Because I sure don't!)

I have been putting off going to see the new Nightmare because I am a horror movie freak and I know it will disappoint me. But I also know I'll kick myself if I don't...

Thank you for reminding me that I also must dye my hair again soon. I've been sitting out in the sun too much and it's lightened up. I'm almost blond again. Now that's scarier than any movie!

  5. Little Debbie makes the best birthday cakes. I actually have a friend that would propose to you if you did that for his birthday.

  8. Mmmmm, fudge rounds. I buy them and mysteriously they are gone the next day and wrappers everywhere. I think I have a ghost.

  10. Uhhh, the feel needed thing...? Ya, that's what it is like when you become a Mom:) Most times it's great, sometimes good, and on occasion a little crazy and overwhelming.
    Happy Birthday to Jam:)
